Welcome to the Klein Bottelary Farm. The Manor House is the beacon of our lovely farm and we would like to share some of it's history.
The Manor House was built during 1758 when the first Fischer was awarded the farm in lieu of pension. Today the 10th generation of Fischers are still living on Klein Bottelary.
This Cape Dutch relic is nestled in a valley surrounded by the magnificent views of the Bottelary Hills.
During 2004 we decided to renovate the existing buildings and have changed them into a venue for weddings, birthdays functions and conferences.
The “Voorkamer” where we host the reception, is a rectangular area of approximately 132m2. It has beautiful yellow wood ceilings with exquisite chandeliers.
The half-meter wide windows are panelled in wood and several pieces of antique furniture adourn the reception room.
The original slave bell still exists and tolls before a bride walks down the isle.
Come and visit us and view our beautiful venue.
